During COVID, my Ph.D program in psychology got delayed so I started teaching myself how to program at home. Little did I know that what started as a little hobby helping non-profit and open-source projects would become my new career.
I have a burning passion for helping others surpass their limitations. When someone has confidence in themselves, feels a sense of belonging and believes in the goal, then they'll do their best to succeed. I'd describe myself as a leader with a deep sense of care for my crew. Just like in a garden, plants can't realize their purpose if they can't grow, they need the correct environment and care to develop. So, when my people are growing, we are closer to blooming into beautiful successful flowers.
The more we fail and make mistakes, the more we learn and improve. Trying over and over again, changing tactics, re-shaping your environment until you achieve success, that's how we become great at what we do. Every previous error is the precious experience of the future. My relentlessness and competitiveness to win have been the key to my success.
I also love making others laugh and just having a good time. Whether it's playing games and trying to beat my friends no matter what or having meaningful conversations while gardening. I'll try to make sure everyone's having a good time.
